Together with Kelly Fagan Robinson, I co-organised an arts-based exhibition, currently on the third floor of the local central library in Cambridge, and a roundtable event with community representatives, academics and health professionals.
We thank service users and officers at the Garden House at Light Project Peterborough, the Gypsy Roma Traveller Hub in Cambridgeshire, the Oasis Community Centre and Click Therapy in Wisbech, and Aspire – Change Grow Live in Peterborough for their steadfast support and for letting us showcase their artworks.
Below, there is a rolling sample of artworks that the community organisations submitted for the Exhibition.
And these are some of the artworks that participants created at the roundtable event Elusive Risks. Thank you to all participants for allowing us to showcase these images.
Acknowledgements:
We thank Elspeth Davies, Barbara from the Central Library in Cambridge, and Sebastian Kaltwang, for their great help setting up and dismounting the exhibition at the Central Library. This exhibition was supported by a pump-priming grant from the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Centre Early Detection Programme.
